Can I use a red white and yellow 'tulip' cable for a component connection to my lcd tv? - white lcd tv

I'm not a regular component Y Pb Pr cable, I would like to try a black and yellow wire, red caps with the same connection ( "Tulip") and Y Pb Pr) cable. Is this possible? I am afraid it will not hurt (to my LCD TV which I connect to the satellite receivers that way.)
