if this is necessary or is not always sure that you have your passport with you when you leave the country, and leave the country, on the water. nowadays you never know what might happen. I assume that the ship is not from a foreign port by way of an emergency. are not allowed to go ashore, if you have a passport, so for a few dollars, you want to cover. Get your passport.

Yes, no, yes, no - a lot of answers, right?

People who are really a link with the State Department and in June 2009. To do after the law, the United States does not need a passport until June to travel by sea. But, ask your cruise line - I have recently learned that some cruise lines are beginning to demand their passports. I've heard this 2nd Hand, so I do not know if it's true, but it is better to check twice before them out of the plane with the minimum requirements (birth certificate and DL).

I would say yes just to be safe, assume more security officers if his hands on a birth certificate

I went on a cruise of 7 days in Mexico from Long Beach (Carnival Pride Make Love)

We have passes and went through security in 5 minutes
